Online Printing System is a prepress process that bridges the gap between online digital content and commercial print production. The process allows a print house, a client or a graphic designer to create, edit, and approve computer-based online templates during the prepress phase. This process increasingly calls for a Portable Document Format (PDF) workflow environment with output provided by digital printing.
print.HONBLUE.com is a retail storefront for everyone while HB Corporate is a custom print portal built specifically for your company with your brand's designs setup as editable templates and tons of additional printing options and management features.

Printing
We use digital printing, which provides a high quality of print material for both text and images that is cost effective for short run print projects versus offset printing. Gloss UV coating gives the surface a highly reflective shine similar to what you see on glossy magazine covers. It also provides the printing with additional protection from wear and tear.

Pricing
Yes, the online price reflects the final cost based on the currently selected specifications, options and applicable taxes. If any specifications change after the order is submitted the cost will change accordingly and a new invoice or credit will be issued.
The pricing on print.HONBLUE.com only applies to orders placed online through the system.

File Specifications
In printing, bleed is printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet before trimming. In other words, the bleed is the area to be trimmed off. The bleed is the part on the side of a document that gives the printer a small amount of space to account for movement of the paper, and design inconsistencies. Artwork and background colors can extend into the bleed area. After trimming, the bleed ensures that no unprinted edges occur in the final trimmed document.
Please submit print ready PDF files for your print order. 
A PDF format represents a document independently of the hardware, operating system, fonts and application software used to create the original PDF file. - We also can accept jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff, png and compressed zip files.
To ensure your PDF file is print ready, use the "High Quality Print" settings in your Adobe product or you can download the print.HONBLUE.com PDF settings to ensure proper PDF output.
Your File page size should match the product finished size you are ordering. ex.: Ordering a 11 x 17 Poster. File page size should be 11 x 17 plus 1/8th" Bleed. 11.25 x 17.25 should be the PDF file size submitted. Crop marks are not needed in pdf file you are submitting.
All images should be 300 dpi @ 100% for best output. For Banners the resolution can be 100 dpi @ 100% due to large file size and further viewing distance.
For accurate results please submit files in CMYK color mode. print.HONBLUE.com will convert RGB and Spot Colors to CMYK for printing.
Please provide 1/8th" of bleed on files for print. For Banners, Display Boards and Banner Stands please provide 1/4" of bleed on files submitted for print.
Be sure to use the Adobe High Resolution Print Setting setting to ensure your fonts are embedded in your PDF file. You can convert your fonts to outlines in the native application to be sure what you see on screen reflects the final output.
